Google TV Watchlist, improved guidelines, and more Android TV roll-out

Google TV improvements on Android TV are coming, including Watchlist, enhanced recommendations, and detailed pages, and users are beginning this week to see the new capabilities.

Google TV has been announced as a new Android TV interface in September 2020, followed by a Google TV user experience with the following smart TV models.

Older Android TV models were then updated to make the interface seem like Google TV and now these improvements are supposed to take the experience one step further. Google discussed developments on its forum on Android TV.

Google’s Android TV community manager Aamir F. said new features come on Android TV to create the “bigger and more helpful” experience. The watch list is displayed on the Discover page and users can add items from a phone or laptop to their watch list via Google Search or the Google TV mobile app.
